It has begun!

Work has begun on Macbeth for Shakespeare Miami. They are a great cast to work with. All very eager to learn. Some have had some stage combat training but as a whole there are few that have a lot of experience. We have a lot of work to do from here on. The show opens in January so there is plenty of time to work things out. The stage is going to be incredible. There are a lot of elements to incorporate into the fights which are going to be very exciting.

Medea

Today Christina and I got to spend some time working with the students from Palm Beach Atlantic University. We helped them work out a small bit of choreography for a their production of "Medea". It was a very simple shove to the ground but we had to teach the lead actress how to fall safely. We spent about an hour with them and worked out some nice moments in a very small bit of choreography. Goes to show it is not the size of the fight but the intention put into it.
